The HAE Project is a new 500 kilovolt (kV) overhead transmission line that traverses approximately 60 miles between a northern terminus at NV Energy’s 500 kV Harry Allen substation and a southern terminus at the 500 kV Eldorado substation, operated by Southern California Edison. The entire project is located in Clark County, Nevada. The majority of the project alignment is on public lands managed by the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) – Southern Nevada District Office, and Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) – Lower Colorado Region.
